Hummingbird Technologies is a company that buys and sells new and used industrial machinery. They felt their identity was somewhat outdated and didn't reflect some characteristics of their company. They wanted a more eye catching yet stern and formal identity.

 

The final image chosen for the hummingbird was its body in a vertical, static position while it's flapping its wings because no other bird can do this, making it its most distinctive pose. Plus, it displays quickness and accurateness, 2 qualities that go in alignment with the company's traits.
